While I use things I've found about the historical figure Francis Crozier's life to fill out the way I play the character he inspired, nothing I write about that character should be taken as any kind of statement about the real person. The character was written in the show with struggles, perspectives, and personality created entirely to suit the (also pretty solidly fictional) story he was a part of, and that's the personality I intend to portray here; I consider him and the actual real person Francis Crozier to be entirely separate.
